THE POLAR EXPRESS EVENT
The Polar Express started this year just after Thanksgiving. Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, hop in the Polar Express at the Conway Scenic Railroad to live yourself the famous book story. Get into your PJs and your best Christmas spirit for this unforgettable journey. You’ll have hot cocoa in the train, sing Christmas songs with all the excited little fellows and stop at the North Pole, where a sea of elves will welcome you and guide you up the mountain. Cranmore Mountain is just 1 mile away from us and is definitely the family destination. Cranmore has 1,200 feet of vertical with 50 trails and glades, sunny southwest exposure and slopes with lots of room to turn. There are 9 lifts, including the Skimobile Express high-speed quad, for short lift lines. Cranmore is blanketed by 100% snowmaking, plus improved grooming, top quality snow and consistent conditions all season long. The Arctic Blast Tubing Park is the coolest Tubing center you’ve ever seen. With two lifts, snowmaking, lights and much more, you’re sure to have the time of your life! Night skiing is offered on Saturday nights from late December through mid-March, on 11 trails and 3 lifts for all ability levels, including the Darkside and Other Side Terrain Parks, Beginner Basin, South Slope, North Slope, Hurricane and more. On top of this, fireworks will light the skies at 7:30pm on selected Saturday nights. Cranmore will be open until midnight on New Year’s Eve as part of our Crantastic New Year’s event. ATTITASH SKI AREA
Attitash is 20 minutes from us and includes 70 trails across 2 mountains: Attitash and Bear Peak. The Attitash side of the resort is classic New England Style skiing while Bear Peak offers newer wide open cruisers, glades and trails straight down the fall-line. With 310 skiable acres, 12 chairlifts and a Terrain Park rated as the biggest and best park in the Mount Washington Valley, which is over 1700′ of ramps, table tops, huge air hits and jibs. They have 10 rails including flat rails, trapeziod, kink down, flat down flat, boxes and more!

MUDDY PAWS SLED DOG KENNEL
Muddy Paw Sled Dog kennel is a kennel comprised of 86 dogs, ranging from racing Alaskan Huskies, to Siberians and Malamutes. The kennel focuses of rescuing Alaskan huskies in need of a home, giving them a “job for life”. Their favorite thing to do is share the passion and adventure of dogsledding from the musher’s perspective. Tours aren’t just sitting in the sled and going for a ride, but involve interacting with dogs, and learning aspects of a culture that many people don’t get to experience.
