Many of them she has hiked more than once, in every season. She has also hiked in the Grand Canyon and in several of the nearby National Parks in theSouthwestern U.S.You will learn some of the history of the area and the nature surrounding you, and she will help you capture beautiful photographs of sights along the way, all while providing you a very relaxing journey! The White Mountains of New Hampshire are wonderful for snowshoers of all levels and age. Snowshoeing is the best way to discover the Mt Washington Valley, especially when you do it with an experienced guide who can help you get the best out of your winter hike, by sharing local secrets, following wild animal tracks in the snow, discovering snow covered boulders or icy formations along streams and guiding you into the wild. There are many options – clear days call for a hike upMountWillardfor sweeping views into Crawford Notch or a trip up Cathedral Ledge trail and the wonderful views of the valley and mountains. When the weather is less cooperative or the wind is strong and temps are low, there are still wonderful wild places to visit that are more sheltered and yet offer views of a different sort.

Merry Christmas from Seattle!

Oh, how I wish I lived closer to you so I could visit the places you’ve described. The train ride, horse-drawn sleigh of Cranmore Lodge and the skating rink sound incredible!!!

I happen to be a member of Somewhere in Time, Unlimited which is a historical costuming group based in Seattle, WA (USA). They put on about 4 major Events per year and participate in several “Dress-up Opportunities” which take place in the community during the year.

If you’d like to see us in costume, hop out to our website at: http://www.CostumingInSeattle.com and click on Past Events. I’m loading up more and more photos all the time, so check back often for the most recent events.

Merry Christmas from this side of our country, the GREATEST place to live on earth!
