Vintner's Cellar

Vintner

There is a new business in North Conway: Vintner’s Cellar. They are conveniently located near Bellini’s Restaurant, almost hidden in a corner of Willow Common, and when you open the doors of the store you are immediately charmed by the Mediterranean Wine cellar decor, with wine bottles, gift baskets all around and a beautiful bar where they offer a totally new experience to wine lovers: not only you can enjoy some wine tasting, but you can actually make your own wine!

They have great selection of white wines (from Australian Chardonnay to Verdicchio), red wines (from Amarone to Vieux Chateau du Roi), specialty wines (Chocolate Tarte Cherry Port or Cranberry Port) or fruit and dessert wines (Black Current Merlot, White Ice Wine).

The experience lasts about 1 hour and is very convivial (especially after tasting 6 wines!). You can choose to make a bottle of wine or an entire batch (up to 25 750 ml bottles or 60 375 ml bottles!) that you can then customize with your own label!

We are so enthusiast that we made our own Cranmore Mountain Lodge’s wine (a Sauvignon Blanc), a special “cuvee” that we will offer to our most frequent guests and on special occasions.

We also are including this wine tasting experience into our Shop Till You Drop Deluxe Package, which starts November 1st and ends December 20th 2008. After a day of shopping the outlets with your girlfriends with a fashionable brightly colored purse (that we provide you) full of coupons, small gifts, energy bars and samples, we thought that it would be a nice break to go do some wine tasting before going out for dinner. And if you choose to make a case of wine, Vintners Cellar is giving our guests FREE custom labels. If you just want to leave with a case of already made wine (with names such as Diana’s Bath or other attractions of our area), you will have a 10% discount!

If you choose Cranmore Mountain Lodge as the setting of your intimate wedding or civil union, Vintner’s Cellar is also a great way to enhance your special day. You can make your own wedding wine (or even just design your own label) and give it to your party guests or serve it during your reception!
