At Cranmore Mountain Lodge, we try to accommodate every diet and welcome a lot of guests with celiac disease. We are soon going to host a “gluten free symposium” in association with Eastern Mountain Sports at the end of June, and I have been looking all over the place to find a good thick gluten free toasting bread to make French Toasts. I currently use an excellent bakery down our street to make the “regular” French Toasts (that are excellent) and I am trying to find the enquivalent, gluten free. So far, I found the usual brand and the bread is too thin! I can’t possibly make my own gluten free bread (lack of time!) and I’d like to find a good online store where I can buy wholesale. Any suggestion welcome! Thank you.

I suggest you contact one of the 3 celiac support groups in New Hampshire as follows for help. They can recommend the best bread, desserts, mixes, etc. and where to buy them.
N. H. Celiac Support Group – http://www.NHceliac.om
Henniker Celiac Group – see http://www.celiac.org – then Local Support Groups
Seacoast Celiac Group – see

Hi Frederique,
I thought this info might help. A local gal from Berlin makes some fabulous gluten free breads and pastries. Not sure about wholesale, you’ll need to ask.
Love your blog!

Thank you so much Robin. I am trying to buy as local as possible (we are a green hotel) and this information is very precious. I am going to contact her and see if she can send/deliver some gluten free products here.
Thanks again!
